Director of Human Resources

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will join the property executive committee and report directly to the General Manager, with a functional link to the Regional Senior Director of HR. The role is responsible for shaping and executing HR strategy for the property, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, workforce planning and performance management for all property employees.
• Develop and implement HR initiatives, including engagement surveys, diversity programs and HR technology adoption (myHR).
• Coordinate the human capital review process, assess leadership pipelines and drive succession activities.
• Serve as change manager for high‑impact employee initiatives and provide HR metrics at owners’ meetings.
• Monitor effective use of HR systems by managers and staff, and coach leaders on HR best practices.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience.
• Proven experience in HR generalist functions, talent management and workforce planning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the myHR HRIS platform.
