Director of Human Resources – Pre‑Opening Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton Diriyah is seeking a senior HR leader to join its Executive Committee and drive the people strategy for this landmark pre‑opening project. Reporting to the General Manager and partnering with the Regional Senior Director of HR, you will shape culture, talent, and leadership capability for a flagship luxury destination.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with property goals, brand priorities, and business objectives.
• Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, succession management, and leadership pipeline development across the hotel.
• Champion associate engagement initiatives, including survey action planning, recognition programmes, and culture‑building activities.
• Partner with department leaders to strengthen performance management, coaching, learning, and career development practices.
• Drive staffing optimisation and recruitment strategies that support operational excellence and future growth.
• Lead compensation and benefits initiatives, ensuring competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with organisational priorities.
• Serve as a key change leader for organisational and people‑related initiatives, supporting successful adoption and execution.
• Build strong relationships with ownership representatives and regional HR leaders.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience, preferably within luxury hospitality or a comparable high‑performance environment.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor to senior leadership.
• Experience influencing executive committees and driving people‑first initiatives at a large, complex organization.
• Strong track record of developing and implementing talent, engagement, and compensation strategies.
