Director of IT Infrastructure Planning & Delivery

About the role

The Director of IT Infrastructure Planning & Delivery will lead Mobily’s internal infrastructure strategy, ensuring efficient design, implementation and operation of IT systems across the organization. This senior position reports to senior leadership and works closely with technical, operations and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage the planning, design and delivery of internal IT infrastructure to meet operational efficiency goals.
• Oversee high‑ and low‑level design, testing and rollout of new infrastructure services, including hardware upgrades.
• Develop and maintain the infrastructure architecture vision, roadmap and capacity planning.
• Ensure service delivery meets SLAs/OLAs and that resources are aligned with internal demand.
• Coordinate with technical teams to launch new products and adopt emerging technologies.
• Monitor infrastructure performance against specifications and drive corrective actions.
• Lead vendor management, including support and enterprise agreements.
• Set objectives, training and appraisal plans for direct reports.
• Plan and manage the infrastructure budget in collaboration with Operations and Business units.
• Facilitate cross‑department communication to resolve conflicts and maintain smooth workflows.
• Act as the focal point for security and network requirements related to new system deployments.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in large‑scale IT infrastructure planning and delivery.
• Strong commercial, technical and marketing understanding.
• Extensive background in cloud and managed services technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage full product life‑cycle from planning to operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
