Director of Rooms – voco Riyadh

About the role

The Director of Rooms will lead the Rooms Division of voco™ Riyadh, a premium hotel located on King Fahad Road in the city’s bustling business district. Reporting to senior hotel leadership, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence across Front Office and Housekeeping.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Rooms Division operations, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day performance.
• Maintain high guest satisfaction, monitor feedback, online reviews, and quality scores.
• Ensure compliance with voco™ and IHG brand standards, policies, and procedures.
• Drive performance, productivity, and service excellence in Front Office and Housekeeping.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management and Commercial teams to maximize room revenue.
• Oversee room inventory management, including VIP rooms, out‑of‑order rooms, and allocation.
• Develop and coach Rooms Division leaders through training, performance management, and succession planning.
• Manage departmental budgets, payroll, and expenses in line with financial objectives.
• Partner with Engineering, Sales, F&B, Finance and other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
• Handle guest concerns and service recovery professionally.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related field.
• 5–7 years of Rooms Division experience, including senior management or Director‑level roles.
• Strong operational knowledge of Front Office and Housekeeping functions.
• Previous experience with an international hotel brand.
