Director of Sales & Marketing – Hotel (Madinah)

About the role

The Director of Sales & Marketing will lead the sales function for a high‑volume hotel in Madinah, overseeing both reactive and proactive initiatives to achieve booking and revenue targets. This senior position reports to hotel ownership and Marriott International, driving brand strategy and long‑term customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic account plan for key demand generators in the market.
• Manage the property’s sales team, providing day‑to‑day leadership to meet booking goals.
• Oversee the marketing budget, creating property‑specific campaigns, promotions and collateral.
• Collaborate with regional marketing communications for national and regional promotions.
• Analyze market trends, competitor strategies and customer intelligence to adjust sales tactics.
• Maintain strong relationships with sales channels such as area sales, group sales, and electronic lead platforms.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with 4 years relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience and progressive career growth in hotel sales.
• Strong understanding of lodging sales, revenue generation and brand standards.
