Director of Spa and Wellness

About the role

The Director of Spa & Wellness leads the vision, experience and operational excellence of the Tierra Santa Healing House at The Red Sea, a South‑American inspired sanctuary. Reporting to senior hotel leadership, you will curate transformative wellness journeys that blend ancient rituals, indigenous ingredients and cutting‑edge longevity science.

Key responsibilities

• Set and champion the strategic wellness vision, ensuring alignment with Faena brand standards.
• Lead, mentor and inspire a multidisciplinary team of therapists, healers, technicians and wellness specialists.
• Oversee daily operations of the spa, hammam, wet areas, treatment rooms and consultation spaces, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and ambience.
• Design and continuously evolve a world‑class menu of therapies, personalized wellness journeys and seasonal rituals.
• Manage departmental budgets, revenue forecasts, cost controls and performance KPIs, driving profitability through treatment optimisation, retail strategy and membership initiatives.
• Collaborate with medical consultants, longevity experts and brand partners to integrate diagnostic testing, modern therapies and alternative healing into cohesive guest experiences.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, health and safety guidelines and uphold Faena‑level emotional hospitality.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–7 years of senior leadership experience in luxury or lifestyle wellness operations within a 5‑star resort or standalone wellness brand.
• Proven track record managing multi‑outlet or large‑scale spa and health‑club facilities.
• Degree or diploma in Spa Management, Hospitality, Health & Wellness or a related field preferred.
• Fluent in English; Arabic and additional languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese) are a plus.
