Director of Technology Innovation & Data (Hotel Opening)

About the role

We are seeking a strategic, hands‑on, service‑driven Director of Technology Innovation & Data to join the opening team at Four Seasons Hotel Madinah. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for the efficient operation, security, and maintenance of all technology systems across the property, including computer systems, network infrastructure, data systems, voice communications, hospitality applications, and guest‑facing technology.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all IT operations, including systems infrastructure, network performance, data and voice communications, hardware, software, and hospitality applications.
• Ensure critical hotel systems are available 24/7 to maintain business continuity and operational efficiency.
• Execute hotel and corporate technology strategies, aligning with Four Seasons standards and business objectives.
• Establish and enforce system security procedures, user access controls, and data protection practices.
• Manage product lifecycle for hardware and software, including upgrades, replacements, and capital planning.
• Prepare and manage IT operating and capital budgets, and oversee vendor contracts and procurement.
• Support pre‑opening activities such as system installations, testing, user training, and technology readiness across all departments.
• Recruit, lead, coach, and develop the IT team, fostering a continuous learning environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Management or related field.
• Proven senior IT leadership experience within a hotel or hospitality environment, including pre‑opening projects.
• Strong business, resource and project planning abilities, with a focus on aligning technology solutions to operational needs.
• High integrity, confidentiality, professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia.
