About the role

The Doorman welcomes guests at the hotel entrance, providing a friendly and caring first impression in line with Kempinski service standards. This frontline position ensures smooth arrivals and departures, contributing directly to overall guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests warmly and open the hotel entrance for them.
• Assist guests with car doors, luggage handling, and escort luggage to the hotel lobby efficiently.
• Respond to guest requests such as arranging taxis, giving directions, or referring inquiries to the appropriate staff.
• Stay informed about hotel products, services, and local tourism or business travel information.
• Monitor traffic flow to prevent vehicles from blocking the entrance.
• Hoist and lower hotel flags according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the main entrance area, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
