About the role
Eram Talent is recruiting an experienced Drilling Engineer for its client, a prominent oil and gas company in Saudi Arabia. The role involves designing and running drilling programs, improving drilling performance and keeping safety and environmental standards strict, working with geologists, reservoir engineers and drilling teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive drilling programs
- Optimize drilling operations to improve performance and cut costs
- Work with cross-functional teams to build strategic well plans
- Carry out risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Analyze drilling performance data and recommend improvements
- Oversee drilling activities and give technical guidance to field teams
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- At least 10 years of drilling engineering experience in the oil and gas industry
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Willingness to live and work in Saudi Arabia and travel to field sites
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of drilling technologies and equipment
- Proficiency in drilling software and data interpretation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
