E & I Engineer (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

The E & I Engineer is responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems. The role covers system integrity, support of cathodic protection systems and compliance with operational and safety standards. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment and instrumentation systems
• Maintain and monitor cathodic protection (CP) systems to protect pipelines and assets
• Carry out preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on E&I systems
• Inspect, test, calibrate and maintain instruments such as transmitters, control valves, analyzers and protection systems
• Maintain electrical systems including motors, switchgear, MCCs, transformers and power distribution
• Take part in shutdowns, turnarounds and major maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, permit-to-work systems and regulations
• Prepare maintenance reports, technical documentation and work orders
• Coordinate with operations teams, contractors and vendors
• Use SAP PM for maintenance planning, execution and reporting (preferred)

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
• 5-8 years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and instrumentation
• Proven expertise in cathodic protection systems
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, good understanding of electrical safety standards, and ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team

Required skills

• Electrical and instrumentation systems in plant and pipeline environments
• CP system design, monitoring and troubleshooting
• SAP PM experience preferred
