Early Childhood Education Teacher

About the role

SABIS, a global education network present in 21 countries, is hiring an Early Childhood Education Teacher at Abdulaziz International School in Al-Sulaimaniah, Riyadh. The teacher implements the SABIS curriculum and philosophy and uses its teaching methods to ensure students' success and help them reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Teach classes using the provided lesson plans (and develop them where needed from the pacing charts) so that the SABIS point system can be used.
• Mark exams according to the schedule and materials provided by the department.
• Implement the SABIS Point System to create a conducive learning environment.
• Proctor exams and manage a proper test environment.
• Support low-performing students through guidance and motivation.
• Discuss disciplinary and performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller and the Head of Department.
• Aid in activities such as testing, substitution, organizing students for lunch and buses, traffic control and other administrative duties assigned by school management.
• Prepare and take part in activity plans for events such as art, open houses and physical education, with the Student Life Coordinator.
• Attend training sessions when requested by school management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• 1+ years of teaching experience.
• English proficiency.
• Professional behaviour, ethical conduct, accountability and continuous learning.
• Excellent communication skills.
