Early Years Support Staff

About the role

We are looking for an Early Years Support Staff member to work alongside the Nursery Teacher, providing daily care, safety and wellbeing for children aged 3 months to 3 years. This hands‑on role is essential for maintaining a clean, healthy and nurturing environment in our start‑up international school.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Teacher in the day‑to‑day running of the classroom.
• Carry out personal care duties such as feeding, nappy changing, dressing, cleaning and supporting nap times.
• Ensure children are safe, hygienic, comfortable and well cared for throughout the day.
• Assist with teacher‑led educational and play‑based activities.
• Support small groups or individual children as directed by the teacher.
• Help maintain a calm, stimulating and welcoming classroom environment.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in Saudi Arabia or spouse/husband of a SEK employee.
• Previous experience caring for babies and young children (3 months–3 years).
• Good physical health and ability to meet the physical demands of the role.
• Caring, patient, cheerful and flexible attitude.

Required skills

• Experience in a nursery, school or early years setting (preferred).
• First aid certification (advantage).
