About the role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage and maintain electrical systems within a hospital environment. The role involves ensuring reliable power supply to critical medical areas and overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise operation and maintenance of HV/LV systems, generators, ATS, UPS, and IT isolated power systems.
- Plan and execute PPM activities and system shutdowns.
- Review technicians' work and CMMS work orders.
- Ensure continuity of power to critical medical zones such as OR and ICU.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Mandatory registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably with hospital electrical systems.
- Familiarity with NFPA 99, CBAHI, and JCI electrical‑safety standards.
Required skills
- Emergency power systems and generators.
- Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and UPS systems.
- IT Isolated Power Systems for OR/ICU.
- Nurse‑call systems.
- Medical equipment power distribution.
- Knowledge of NFPA 99, CBAHI, and JCI electrical‑safety requirements.
