Electrical Maintenance Engineer I

About the role

We are looking for an Engineer I to join our electrical maintenance team at our Yanbu plant. The role focuses on delivering complex electrical maintenance services, ensuring plant equipment operates at optimal performance while adhering to the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute preventive maintenance (PM) procedures and fault reports.
• Diagnose and rectify critical electrical equipment failures promptly.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis and support reliability initiatives.
• Review material reservations and requisitions for electrical maintenance tasks.
• Coach and train team members to build required technical skills.
• Support routine and preventive maintenance to achieve equipment availability targets.
• Install, commission, modify, and suggest design changes to electrical systems and equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical maintenance or design.
• Fluent English with strong written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, transformers, PLCs and drives.
• Maintenance planning and execution.
• Root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of safety standards and industrial codes.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with SAP and MS Office applications.
