End User Support & Site IT Engineer

About the role

DGTEC is recruiting an experienced End User Support & Site IT Engineer to provide on-site technical assistance for one of its clients in Riyadh. The successful candidate will manage daily IT support operations, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain Microsoft 365 environments and assist with endpoint management and site networking. The role suits someone with strong technical expertise, independent problem-solving skills and the ability to support executive and VIP users.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 end user computing support for Windows laptops, desktops, operating systems and business applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, peripheral, printer, Wi-Fi, LAN connectivity and system performance issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Microsoft Office) and troubleshoot authentication, login and sign-in problems.
• Manage Windows endpoint patching, monitor update compliance and resolve patch installation failures.
• Assist with Active Directory and Microsoft Intune administration.
• Support site networking infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switches, access points).
• Provide site IT administration, VPN troubleshooting, Cisco switch support and Sophos firewall assistance.
• Coordinate with vendors and centralised IT teams and deliver responsive support to executive and VIP users.

Required profile

• 4-8 years of relevant IT support or end user computing experience.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, customer service, organisation and independent working skills.
• Ability to provide professional technical assistance to executive and VIP users.

Required skills

• Windows operating systems, hardware and peripherals, and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Windows patching and update management.
• LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, network switches and access points.
• Cisco switch administration, Sophos firewall support, VPN connectivity and remote office operations.
• Preferred: CCNA, Microsoft MS-900, Microsoft Endpoint Administrator or ITIL Foundation certification.
