Engineering Director

About the role

The Engineering Director will provide overall technical and engineering leadership for large‑scale construction projects, ensuring delivery aligns with approved designs, contracts, quality standards, budgets and schedules. This senior position reports to senior management and works closely with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering and technical teams across multiple projects.
• Oversee design review, technical coordination, value engineering and constructability studies.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, standards and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project management teams.
• Monitor engineering progress, technical risks, resources and project requirements.
• Resolve complex engineering issues and implement effective technical solutions.
• Establish engineering procedures and guarantee timely, high‑quality technical deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 20 + years of engineering and construction experience.
• Extensive background with construction/contracting firms and large‑scale projects.
• Strong leadership, commercial acumen and project management capabilities.
