English Teacher

About the role

The English Teacher will deliver the SABIS® curriculum to students, fostering academic growth and helping learners reach their full potential. This position is based at Abdulaziz International School in Riyadh and follows the proven SABIS® teaching methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English classes using provided lesson plans or develop plans based on pacing charts.
• Mark exams and assessments according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss disciplinary and performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
• Implement the SABIS® Point System to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Proctor exams and ensure proper test conditions.
• Support low‑performing students through guidance and motivation.
• Assist with external exam preparation and revision schedules.
• Perform additional duties such as student testing, substitute teaching, organizing lunches and transport, and other administrative tasks.
• Participate in student life activities, including art events, open houses, and physical education, in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator.
• Attend training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS® system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.
• Professional behavior and ethical conduct.
• Commitment to delivering results and continuous learning.
