About the role

QIMA is seeking a professional English‑Nepali Translator and Interpreter to support its Factory Auditors. You will enable clear communication between auditors and factory staff, ensuring audit findings are accurately conveyed in both languages.

Key responsibilities

• Translate audit reports, technical documents, correspondence and policies between English and Nepali.
• Provide real‑time interpretation during factory visits, meetings and interviews.
• Assist auditors in understanding Nepali regulations, documents and cultural nuances.
• Act as a communication bridge to ensure mutual understanding between English‑speaking auditors and Nepali‑speaking personnel.
• Maintain precise records of all translations and interpretation sessions.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and professional conduct in diverse environments.

Required profile

• Fluent in both English and Nepali with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Proven experience in translation and interpretation, preferably within a corporate or industrial context.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with auditors and factory staff.
