ER Clinic Nurse

About the role

The ER Clinic Nurse will deliver safe, high‑quality nursing care within the college clinic and respond rapidly to medical emergencies across the campus. The role supports the ER Clinic Doctor, maintains emergency equipment, and ensures accurate clinical documentation and infection‑control practices.

Key responsibilities

• Provide immediate nursing care in emergency and urgent situations, including assessment, vital‑sign monitoring, and stabilization of patients.
• Administer intramuscular (IM) and intravenous (IV) medications as ordered and within the scope of practice.
• Perform ECG procedures and operate AED/defibrillator equipment when required.
• Assist the physician during examinations, treatments, and emergency procedures, including physical examinations of female patients.
• Maintain and regularly check emergency equipment, medication stocks, and medical supplies for readiness.
• Ensure rigorous infection‑prevention and safety protocols, including cleaning and disinfecting clinical areas between patients.
• Accurately record patient information, treatments, and clinical logs while preserving confidentiality.
• Support reception and administrative tasks related to clinic operations as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified registered nurse with a strong motivation to work in an emergency clinic environment.
• Ability to respond quickly to campus‑wide medical emergencies and provide patient reassurance.
• Commitment to maintaining infection‑control standards and patient safety.
