Estimating Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Estimating Manager to lead cost estimation for Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) products and projects. The role involves preparing accurate bids from raw material take‑offs through fabrication and installation, ensuring competitive and profitable outcomes for our factory.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender drawings, specifications and BOQs to produce detailed quantity take‑offs for GRC panels, cladding and architectural precast elements.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates covering raw materials, moulds, labour, production overheads, transportation and installation.
• Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for materials and specialised works.
• Analyse technical drawings to determine panel sizes, mix designs, mould requirements and reinforcement details.
• Prepare bid summaries, cost comparisons and value‑engineering recommendations.
• Liaise with design, production and procurement teams to validate quantities and specifications.
• Track actual production costs against estimates and maintain a historical cost database.
• Support contract negotiations by providing detailed cost breakdowns and clarifications.
• Maintain estimating records and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering or a related field.
• 3–6 years of estimating experience, preferably in GRC, precast concrete or façade/cladding manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GRC materials, mix‑design principles and production processes.
• Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail and good communication skills in English (Arabic a plus).
