Executive Director – Government Partnerships

About the role

Our client is a private‑sector organisation that works closely with government entities on national‑scale initiatives, making government partnerships a core growth driver. The Executive Director will shape and lead these strategic collaborations, ensuring alignment with national priorities and regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagement with government stakeholders and public‑sector partners, establishing trusted relationships and facilitating dialogue.
• Manage strategic relationships, joint initiatives, and long‑term collaboration frameworks to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Align business objectives with national priorities and regulatory expectations, ensuring compliance and strategic fit.
• Support licensing, approvals, and policy navigation, coordinating with relevant authorities to expedite processes.
• Advise senior leadership on public‑sector strategy, risk assessment, and mitigation plans, providing high‑level insight and discretion.

Required profile

• Senior experience in government relations, public‑private partnerships, or regulated environments, with a track record of successful collaborations.
• Deep understanding of Saudi public‑sector dynamics, including regulatory frameworks and national development agendas.
• Demonstrated diplomacy, influence, and strategic thinking, capable of negotiating complex agreements.
• Arabic fluency highly preferred to facilitate effective communication with local officials.
• Proven track record representing organisations at senior government levels, showcasing credibility and discretion.
