F5 Professional Services Consultant (Saudi National)

About the role

C-Serv is seeking a Saudi Arabian national to act as an F5 Professional Services Consultant, managing key government contracts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role combines on-site and remote work and suits candidates experienced in F5 product design, configuration and deployment. It calls for analytical skills and technical knowledge to improve service delivery and support a wide range of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Keep up with F5 products and technologies through self-directed learning and formal training.
• Handle technical work such as defining systems architecture, writing hardware and software specifications, designing, implementing, testing, training clients and deploying solutions.
• Carry out consulting work including new installations, migrations, upgrades, configurations, iRules creation, security updates and troubleshooting.
• Identify further product or service opportunities for clients and build strong relationships with partners and customers.
• Perform basic project management tasks such as status reporting, time tracking and managing expectations around deliverables and risks.
• Use F5 BIG-IP for deployment automation and orchestrate cloud deployments.
• Provide application security expertise, especially L7 WAF capabilities and mitigation of DoS and bot attacks.

Required profile

• Saudi Arabian nationality; the client request applies only to Saudi nationals.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in network or system infrastructure architecture and design, including performance and management.
• At least 3 years in customer-facing roles as a consultant or engineer.
• Strong understanding of OSI layers 5 to 7.

Required skills

• 3 years of hands-on work with F5 LTM, GTM, DNS and advanced modules such as Viprion and iRules.
• Experience configuring AFM with IP Intelligence (IPI) is essential.
• Familiarity with HTTP, SSL certificates and web server administration (Apache or IIS).
• Valid F5 certifications (101, 201, 301a, 301b, 302 or above) are advantageous.
