Factory Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Factory Manager to lead cost estimating for our Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) production line. The role involves preparing accurate bids from raw‑material takeoffs through fabrication and installation, ensuring competitive and profitable proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender drawings, specifications and BOQs to generate detailed quantity takeoffs for GRC panels, cladding and architectural precast elements.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates covering raw materials, moulds, labour, overheads, transportation and installation.
• Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and perform cost comparisons.
• Analyse technical drawings to determine panel sizes, mix designs, mould requirements and reinforcement details.
• Prepare bid summaries, value‑engineering recommendations and support contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with design, production and procurement teams to validate quantities and specifications.
• Track actual production costs against estimates and maintain a historical cost database.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• 3–6 years of estimating experience, preferably in GRC, precast concrete or façade manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and good communication in English (Arabic a plus).
