Faculty Member in Health Management

About the role

The Health Management Program at Batterjee Medical College seeks a dynamic Faculty Member in Health Management to join its academic team. The role involves teaching, research, student mentorship, and contributing to the program’s academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Health Management and related subjects.
• Apply innovative, student‑centered teaching methods and integrate digital/online learning tools.
• Design course materials, assessments, examinations and ensure alignment with program learning outcomes.
• Participate in curriculum review, continuous improvement and academic quality activities.
• Provide academic advising, maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
• Conduct individual and collaborative research in health management, health policy, health informatics or related fields and publish in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Present research at conferences, seminars and contribute to the college’s research profile.
• Supervise student research projects, capstone initiatives and offer mentorship and career guidance.

Required profile

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Health Management, Health Administration, Health Informatics or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum three years (36 months) of relevant teaching or professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to teach at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
• Strong research track record with publications in reputable journals.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to student mentorship.
