Family Medicine Registrar

About the role

The Family Medicine Registrar will deliver comprehensive primary‑care services to patients living at home, concentrating on chronic disease management and preventive health. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Riyadh and operates within VitalAire’s home‑healthcare model.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments, obtain patient histories, perform physical examinations, and order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop individualized care plans, prescribe appropriate treatments, and ensure continuity of care in the home setting.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, therapists, and prescribers, to deliver integrated care.
• Maintain accurate medical records, participate in clinical audits, and contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide patient education and counseling to promote self‑management of chronic conditions.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with recognized training in Family Medicine or General Practice.
• Valid license or eligibility to practice medicine in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and completion of required residency or registrar‑level training.
• Demonstrated expertise in chronic disease management, preventive care, and family‑oriented practice.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment‑planning abilities with a focus on patient safety.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work on‑site, manage a varied caseload, and adapt to home‑healthcare pathways.
• Commitment to ethical, patient‑centered care and continuous professional development.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is highly beneficial.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation.
