Field Service Engineer

About the role

Radiometer is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join its Customer Support team in Abha, Saudi Arabia. You will be the on‑site expert for our diagnostic analyzers, ensuring customers receive reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on assigned analyzer base.
• Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment.
• Complete regulatory field action notes and technical updates within required timelines.
• Install analyzers and deliver user training to customers.
• Manage spare‑part inventory and record usage on service jobs.
• Upgrade operating systems, ensure cybersecurity compliance, and conduct basic IT troubleshooting on Windows devices.
• Configure IP addresses and verify connectivity to middleware, LIS, HIS, or EMR systems.

Required profile

• University degree in biomedical, mechanical/electromechanical, electronic engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of field service experience in the healthcare diagnostics or point‑of‑care device sector.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
