Field Service Representative

About the role

Join Nalco Water’s industry‑leading sales and service team as a Field Service Representative. You will partner with Sales Representatives to execute service plans, support new applications, and transition competitively‑held accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction across strategic district accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts, executing system assurance and continuous improvement plans.
• Assist with plant surveys, start‑ups of new applications, and transition of accounts.
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and act as a technical liaison.
• Identify and resolve customer challenges, performing system analysis, data interpretation, and written recommendations.
• Promote Nalco innovations and technology within assigned territory.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment and travel within the sales territory as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Life Sciences.
• 5–10 years of experience in water‑treatment applications within refineries or specialty chemical industry.
• Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, wastewater treatment systems, or paper‑machine operations, wet‑end chemistry, and pulp‑mill operations.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor‑vehicle record.
