Finance Business Partner – IT

About the role

The Finance Business Partner – IT will act as the strategic bridge between Finance and Asnad Tech, enabling data‑driven decisions, ensuring financial discipline across technology investments, and supporting the firm’s digital transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary financial advisor to Asnad Tech leadership, providing insights on cost optimisation, ROI and investment priorities.
• Support the creation and evaluation of business cases for new technologies, system enhancements and automation projects.
• Track post‑implementation financial benefits against approved business cases and translate technical initiatives into financial impact.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning for the Asnad Tech function.
• Develop proposals, costing and pricing models for internal and external engagements, covering cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, applications and support services.
• Analyse variances, trends and cost drivers; present findings to Finance and Tech stakeholders.
• Roll‑out Activity Based Costing across the service catalogue and build financial dashboards and KPIs.
• Identify savings opportunities through vendor rationalisation, license optimisation and cloud cost management.
• Provide financial insights for contract, SLA and licensing negotiations and recommend improvements for cost transparency.

Required profile

• Strong financial expertise combined with a solid understanding of IT operations, systems and project management.
• Proven experience in finance business partnering, cost optimisation and budgeting within a technology environment.
• Ability to translate technical initiatives into clear financial outcomes and to communicate with both finance and tech audiences.
