Finance Manager – Dates Industry

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead day‑to‑day financial operations for a dates production business, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management. The role supports senior management with timely financial insights to drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting activities, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, inventory and cash management.
• Lead the preparation and monitoring of the annual operating budget, cash‑flow forecasts and monthly variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain cost‑control systems for farming, processing, packaging and distribution, analysing profitability by product and market.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, KPI dashboards and profitability reports for senior leadership.
• Coordinate external audits, ensure compliance with Saudi accounting, tax and VAT regulations, and implement internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, ACCA or CMA preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in agriculture or food processing.
• Proven experience in budgeting, cost accounting, financial reporting and audit coordination.

Required skills

• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
