Finance Manager (Finance Unit Lead)

About the role

As Finance Unit Lead at Quant, you will lead the finance function across the group, overseeing accounting and compliance, internal reporting and team leadership. You will shape financial direction, improve operational efficiency and support data-driven decisions to fuel the company's growth.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll and intercompany reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual closings for all group entities
• Maintain compliance with IFRS and local tax laws, including VAT and WHT filings
• Lead external audits and coordinate with auditors across the group
• Maintain clean and accurate books for the holding company and its subsidiaries
• Lead and mentor the finance team, allocate responsibilities and strengthen internal controls
• Oversee internal reporting on cash flow, budget variance and spend tracking
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting with all departments, and build financial dashboards and KPIs
• Prepare investor reports on financials, burn rate and key performance metrics
• Liaise with external advisors, tax consultants and legal partners, and manage finance systems such as Zoho Books and Power BI

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years in financial leadership roles
• Experience in tech or fast-paced startup environments is a strong plus
• Preferred: strong leadership and mentoring skills, strategic thinking with attention to detail, effective communication across finance and non-finance teams, and comfort managing multiple entities and stakeholders

Required skills

• Deep understanding of IFRS, tax regulations and audit practices
• Expertise in financial systems, automation tools and reporting platforms
• Strong analytical skills and experience building financial models and KPIs
• Familiarity with Zoho Books, Power BI or similar platforms
