Financial Operations Manager – AR & Billing

About the role

The Financial Operations Manager will lead the full accounts receivable and billing lifecycle for The Red Sea Utilities Company. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will ensure accurate invoicing, timely revenue recognition, and effective collections to optimise cash flow while driving process improvements and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Finalize end‑user agreements and collaborate with operations to verify consumption data.
• Generate, submit and reconcile final bills in SAP ERP.
• Monitor aging reports, negotiate payment arrangements and manage delinquent accounts.
• Define and implement credit policies in partnership with stakeholders.
• Maintain internal controls, ensure regulatory compliance and support audits.
• Prepare and present AR KPIs and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements and lead automation initiatives for billing and collections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (MBA or CPA a plus).
• 8+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, credit or collections.
• At least 3–5 years in a managerial role overseeing finance operations.
• Proven ability to manage teams, drive process optimisation and ensure compliance.
