Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis within the Finance department.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes in collaboration with business units.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports, analyze variances and trends, and provide insights for management decisions.
• Analyze sales, margins, costs, and operational KPIs to identify opportunities for improved financial performance.
• Conduct profitability analysis across stores, products, and business units, including ROI, business cases, and scenario analysis.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, store openings/closures, and expansion plans through financial modeling and commercial analysis.
• Partner with Operations, Merchandising, HR, and other functions to optimize costs and resource allocation.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, forecasting, and investment decisions.
• Enhance FP&A tools, dashboards, and reporting processes leveraging ERP and BI systems.
• Lead, coach, and develop FP&A analysts while fostering collaboration with business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Professional certification such as CMA or FMVA is an advantage.
• 12–15 years of progressive FP&A experience, preferably in retail or a large commercial organization.
• 5–7 years in a managerial role leading finance/FP&A teams.
• Strong understanding of retail financial performance, sales, margins, costs, and operational KPIs.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Power BI for reporting and dashboard creation.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
