Fleet Manager

About the role

Al Khaldi is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to lead transportation and vehicle operations across Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on optimizing heavy truck and tanker fleets, ensuring safety compliance, and driving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily transportation workflows, vehicle availability, and fleet performance metrics.
• Oversee maintenance programs for heavy trucks and tankers, managing preventive upkeep and repair schedules.
• Monitor driver performance, safety protocol adherence, and compliance with national transport laws.
• Implement cost‑control strategies, manage budget allocations, and track core fleet KPIs.
• Leverage GPS tracking systems and operational analytics to optimize routing, fuel economy, and fleet productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 8–12 years of comprehensive fleet or transportation management experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Regional experience in Saudi Arabia is preferred.

Required skills

• Hands‑on expertise with GPS/telematics tracking software.
• Proficiency in fleet management information systems.
• Experience with maintenance scheduling platforms.
