Flight Simulator Technician – Riyadh Air Training Centre

About the role

Join CAE Middle East as a Flight Simulator Technician supporting the new Riyadh Air training centre. You will work with advanced flight simulators, performing maintenance, diagnostics, and upgrades in a cutting‑edge aviation training environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and basic visual alignments on flight simulators and associated systems.
• Diagnose and correct technical problems, run automatic Qualification Test Guides, and assist with refurbishments and hardware modifications.
• Record and track activities using the maintenance management system and complete all designated training.
• Provide customer service support, housekeeping, logistics (parts receipt, repair, testing), and administrative tasks as required.
• Comply with CAE quality management and health & safety regulations.

Required profile

• 2‑year technical degree or 4 years of relevant electronic/avionic experience.
• 1‑3 years of hands‑on experience with flight simulators or similar equipment.
• Flexibility to work shifting schedules and adapt to changing work plans.
• Ability to read system prints, schematics and operate test equipment.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generator and logic analyzer operation.
• Soldering and circuit‑board repair.
• Preventive maintenance procedures for simulators.
• Use of maintenance management systems.
• Microsoft Office suite and general PC literacy.
