About the role
Join Amazon Operations as a Fulfillment Center Supervisor, overseeing shift management in first‑mile, middle‑mile, or final‑mile facilities. You will lead a team of Associates, ensure safety, and help deliver customer orders efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe working environment by identifying safety opportunities.
- Manage, train, and motivate Associates to meet quality and service standards.
- Ensure customer orders are fulfilled according to quality and safety guidelines.
- Provide shift‑related information to frontline management and operators.
- Adjust labor allocation throughout the shift to meet or exceed forecasts.
- Collaborate with support functions to resolve performance issues (e.g., process readiness, 5S, safety, training).
- Analyze data, innovate, and optimize processes to solve logistics and supply‑chain challenges.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift up to 49 lb, stand/walk for up to 12‑hour shifts, and perform frequent squatting, bending, and reaching.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week with overtime as needed.
