Full‑Stack Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a full‑stack software engineer to join NQT’s fintech team in Riyadh. You will work on a live loyalty and rewards platform that handles points, redemptions, merchant settlements and payments for real merchants and customers across Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance web portals with React and TypeScript.
• Design data models and APIs on MongoDB and ensure they are delivered through Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement core money flows such as points accrual, redemption, merchant settlements and payments.
• Write tested, secure code with a strong focus on financial correctness.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions and product decisions.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot, or a demonstrated ability to learn them quickly.
• Familiarity with MongoDB and RESTful API design.
• Understanding of authentication, secure coding practices and financial data handling.
• Good habits in Git, testing and collaborative development.
• Based in Riyadh or able to work onsite; fresh graduates and self‑taught developers are welcome.
