General Accountant – Full-time (Morning Shift)

About the role

The company is seeking a General Accountant for an on‑site, full‑time position (Morning Shift) in Riyadh/Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. You will manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and support financial reporting for project and corporate activities within a contracting/project accounting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the full set of books, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accruals and general‑ledger entries.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Manage invoicing and collections for project billings, reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Process vendor invoices and payments, maintain vendor records and ensure timely settlements.
• Assist with project cost tracking, job‑costing entries and variance analysis versus budgets.
• Support payroll processing by preparing journal entries and reconciliations for salaries, benefits and statutory deductions.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian tax and regulatory reporting requirements and support external audits.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate revenue and expense recognition and maintain supporting documentation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction, electro‑mechanical contracting or industrial engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, month‑end close and financial‑statement preparation.
• Experience with job costing, project accounting and cost‑allocation methodologies.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; candidate must be from Kerala with a transferable visa.
