General Director of Digital Transformation

About the role

KAEAA is looking for a visionary General Director of Digital Transformation to build and lead the Digital Transformation General Department. The role will define the organization’s digital strategy, create a roadmap, and oversee enterprise‑wide initiatives that drive efficiency, innovation, and strategic outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and develop the Digital Transformation General Department, including its operating model.
• Define and execute a Digital Transformation Strategy aligned with the overall organizational strategy.
• Create and manage a Digital Transformation Roadmap, leading implementation of digital programs.
• Lead digital governance by developing policies, standards, and frameworks.
• Drive innovation, change management, business‑process improvement, and organizational transformation.
• Oversee the technology ecosystem – enterprise applications, data & analytics, infrastructure, IT services, and cybersecurity.
• Manage technology budgets, investments, contracts, and strategic partnerships.
• Monitor KPIs, assess digital maturity, and advise executive management.
• Ensure compliance with DGA, NCA, SDAIA, and other regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in digital transformation or IT, including leadership roles.
• Proven track record of leading end‑to‑end digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience establishing or developing digital transformation or IT departments, preferably in government or semi‑government entities.
• Strong background in portfolio and strategic program management, budgeting, contract and stakeholder management.
