General Foreman – Construction Site Leader

About the role

The General Foreman will supervise and coordinate all on‑site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. This role involves leading crews, managing subcontractors, and optimizing resources across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Directly supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and on‑site personnel, assigning tasks based on skills and project needs.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to interpret plans, schedules, and specifications.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate daily and weekly project schedules.
• Identify and resolve on‑site issues, maintaining accurate daily logs and progress reports.
• Monitor budgetary constraints, track expenses, and report cost concerns.
• Provide training, coaching, and leadership to team members, ensuring fair task distribution.
• Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of experience in construction supervision.
• Proven ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and site resources effectively.
• Strong communication skills for coordination with engineers, managers, and stakeholders.
• Experience in budget monitoring and cost control.
