General Manager – Building Automation Projects (Saudi National)

About the role

Honeywell is seeking a Saudi national General Manager to lead its Building Automation & Projects business in the Kingdom. Reporting to the META Projects General Manager, you will be based in Riyadh and drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Champion customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and senior suppliers.
• Drive customer satisfaction, promptly address escalations, and ensure timely resolution.
• Guarantee projects are adequately resourced and delivered on schedule.
• Maintain process compliance with Honeywell policies.
• Own the regional P&L for Building Automation Projects, delivering top‑line revenue, gross margin, operating income, and cost targets.
• Develop and implement a robust management operating system to improve productivity, cost control, and profitability.
• Support offering management in branding, market penetration, and demand generation for the region.

Required profile

• 8+ years of leadership experience in strategy deployment, operations, sales, or program management.
• Proven track record of delivering growth and financial performance for an independent line of business.
• Strong financial knowledge of balance sheets, P&L, cash flow, and working capital.
• Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Extensive management experience with full P&L accountability.
• Experience in sales, branch management, and operations, preferably within the building automation or related industry.
• Strong tactical and strategic decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to motivate and build high‑performing teams and manage change.
