General Manager - Heavy Equipment Rental Marketplace

About the role

RYM is looking for a General Manager based in KSA to lead its growth and operational excellence across the GCC. The role owns the full P&L and reports to the Group CBO / CEO, leading both supply (equipment owners) and demand (contractors).

Key responsibilities

• Own the growth strategy, market expansion and full P&L profitability.
• Build and lead sales, vendor acquisition and operations teams.
• Scale supply through contractors, equipment owners, dealers and OEMs, and expand demand through construction companies, megaprojects and government tenders.
• Drive pricing models, commission tiers and asset-utilization metrics.
• Improve fulfillment rates, reduce downtime and strengthen service guarantees.
• Work with the product team on digital booking, tracking, verification and safety compliance, and on vendor SLAs and contractor service standards.
• Build strategic alliances with logistics, insurance and maintenance providers, and represent RYM with regulators, industrial zones, EPCs and contractors.
• Hire, train and retain high-performing teams across multiple markets.

Required profile

• 8+ years in heavy-equipment rental, construction logistics or machinery marketplace.
• Proven track record of scaling operations and commercial revenue.
• Strong network with EPCs, contractors and industrial suppliers.
• GCC experience is a must.

• Tech-savvy with marketplace experience (preferred)
