General Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The General Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the Crowne Plaza Madina Al Haramain, driving sales, revenue, and financial performance while upholding brand standards and enhancing the hotel’s presence in the local market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute programmes that boost team engagement and align with the hotel’s service philosophy.
• Implement succession planning and performance development for staff, providing coaching and feedback.
• Oversee HR actions in line with company policies.
• Maintain compliance with brand and service standards, and continuously improve guest satisfaction.
• Prepare annual capital, cash‑flow, and sales‑marketing plans; analyse financials to maximise profitability.
• Utilise distribution channels and technology platforms to increase market share.
• Ensure a safe environment for guests, staff, and assets, and act as a public‑relations representative in the community.
• Lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the hotel’s carbon footprint.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of hotel management experience in Saudi Arabia, with proven pre‑opening and launch expertise.
• Experience in the Madinah market is preferred.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
