General Physician – Clinical & Surgical Support

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, patient‑focused General Physician to join our expanding vascular and endovascular surgery team. The role blends outpatient and inpatient clinical care with minor surgical support and comprehensive patient coordination, ideal for a physician who enjoys hands‑on practice and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients in outpatient clinics and inpatient wards.
• Perform minor surgical and office‑based procedures within the scope of practice.
• Assist consultants during clinical assessments and selected surgical procedures.
• Coordinate investigations, referrals, admissions, and follow‑up appointments.
• Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative patient assessment and management.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post‑operative care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely documentation.
• Communicate with nursing staff, allied health professionals, and administrative teams to optimise patient flow.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and uphold patient safety standards.

Required profile

• Medical degree from a recognised institution.
• Experience as a General Physician in a hospital or surgical setting.
• Basic surgical skills with confidence in performing minor procedures.
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
