GIS Applications Developer

About the role

The GIS Applications Developer will design, build, and maintain web‑based geospatial solutions that support our enterprise’s spatial data needs. You will work closely with GIS analysts and IT teams to deliver interactive maps, data integration tools, and mobile collection applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain GIS web applications and e‑services.
• Build interactive web maps, geo‑portals, and mobile GIS data‑collection apps.
• Develop tools for GIS data integration, migration, and interoperability.
• Administer and enhance enterprise geospatial platforms (ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal, etc.).
• Integrate GIS platforms with enterprise systems via APIs.
• Manage geodatabases, remote‑sensing datasets, and ensure platform performance and availability.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain GIS software and infrastructure.
• Prepare technical documentation, progress reports, and apply quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong experience with ESRI ArcGIS products and QGIS.
• Proficiency in managing geodatabases and spatial data.
• Knowledge of remote‑sensing data, GIS data modeling, and GIS integration methods.
• Experience developing Web GIS applications and interactive maps.
• Solid programming skills in Python and Java.
• Familiarity with mobile GIS applications and field data collection tools.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities.
