Government Relations Officer

About the role

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy is looking for an experienced Government Relations Officer to support its operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between the company and Saudi government entities, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and smooth processing of all official documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with ministries, regulatory bodies, and other government offices.
• Represent the company in meetings and official communications with Saudi authorities.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, visa processes, and administrative procedures.
• Manage renewal and updating of licenses, permits, and legal documents.
• Process visas, work permits, Iqama issuance, and renewals.
• Register contracts, certifications, and other official documents with relevant authorities.
• Address and resolve government‑related issues, penalties, or disputes.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise management on regulatory impacts.
• Maintain records of government transactions and prepare periodic reports.

Required profile

• Saudi national as required by local regulations.
• 7–10 years of experience in a Government Relations or PRO role.
• Valid Saudi driving license.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Saudi labor laws, visa processes, and government procedures.
• Experience using government portals such as Muqeem, Qiwa, and Absher.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard administrative software.
