Government Relations Officer (Madinah)

About the role

Reef Group is looking for a proactive Government Relations Officer to manage and follow up on government‑related transactions and field activities in Madinah. The role requires deep knowledge of local government entities, procedures and the ability to build effective relationships to ensure timely completion of permits, licences and approvals.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Reef Group before relevant government entities and authorities in Madinah.
• Follow up on government transactions, permits, licences, approvals and official requirements.
• Visit government offices and authorities as required to complete company‑related procedures.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with government representatives and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal departments to provide required documents and approvals.
• Resolve issues, delays and administrative challenges in government processes.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions, correspondence and completed procedures.
• Provide regular updates and reports on the status of pending actions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in government relations, affairs or transaction follow‑up.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian government entities, procedures and administrative processes.
• Familiarity with government offices and authorities in Madinah.
• Proven experience in field‑based government follow‑up and transaction completion.
• Good understanding of government platforms and official procedures.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills with a persistent follow‑up approach.
• Valid Saudi driving licence, willingness to work in the field and fluency in Arabic (English is an advantage).
