GRC Analyst - COBIT Certified

About the role

Eram Talent, a recruitment partner serving several industries, is looking for a detail-oriented GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) Analyst with COBIT certification to join its team. The role ensures that clients' IT governance, risk management and compliance frameworks are designed, implemented and maintained. The workplace is on site in Dhahran.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain GRC frameworks using COBIT principles and best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and internal control evaluations to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
• Monitor compliance with IT policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams on governance and risk mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on governance, risk and compliance status.
• Support audit activities and help respond to audit findings related to IT governance.
• Keep up to date with new regulations and frameworks, and promote GRC awareness across the organisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience as a GRC analyst or similar role, preferably in IT governance and risk management.
• Experience developing and implementing governance frameworks and managing governance-related projects.
• Experience supporting IT audits and addressing audit findings.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with strong organisational skills.

Required skills

• COBIT certification is mandatory.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 38500, COBIT and NIST.
• Preferred: ISO/IEC 35800 (Corporate Governance of IT).
• Plus: knowledge of ISO 27001 and ITIL.
