Head of Compliance (VP level) – International Corporate Bank

About the role

The bank is seeking an experienced Head of Compliance at VP level to lead its compliance function. This senior position will oversee regulatory adherence for an international corporate and investment bank regulated by SAMA, based in Riyadh.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the bank’s compliance framework in line with SAMA regulations.
• Lead and manage a small compliance team, providing guidance and performance oversight.
• Monitor and assess regulatory changes, ensuring timely adoption across the organization.
• Conduct risk assessments, internal audits, and reporting to senior management and regulators.
• Collaborate with business units to embed compliance controls in corporate and investment banking activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a compliance leadership role, preferably at Head or VP level.
• Demonstrated experience with SAMA regulatory framework; SAMA approval will be required.
• Prior experience in an international bank operating in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and manage a small team.
