Head of SAP Enterprise Architecture

About the role

The Head of SAP Enterprise Architecture will own and lead the enterprise‑wide SAP S/4HANA landscape, defining a platform strategy that aligns with business objectives and ensuring the stability, performance, and security of all SAP environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the SAP platform strategy, covering S/4HANA, modules, integrations and cloud services.
• Oversee delivery of SAP projects, enhancements, upgrades and transformation initiatives.
• Provide leadership across SAP modules such as FICO, SuccessFactors, SCM, WM/EWM, PP, GRC and Reporting.
• Establish governance, architecture standards and best practices for Development, QA and Production.
• Lead integration with non‑SAP systems and cloud platforms (BTP, APIs, PI/PO, CPI).
• Manage data governance, user access controls, audit readiness and risk management.
• Drive fit‑to‑standard, clean‑core principles and minimize custom development.
• Approve solution designs, functional specifications and architecture decisions.
• Mentor and develop internal SAP teams and manage external vendors and SLAs.

Required profile

• 10+ years of SAP experience, including end‑to‑end S/4HANA transformations.
• Previous role as SAP Enterprise Architect or SAP Practice Leader.
• Strong multi‑module SAP architecture expertise.
• Proven ability to challenge business requirements and reject poor designs.
• Experience establishing SAP governance frameworks and delivery governance.
