Head Teacher – Mathematics & Physics (American Curriculum)

About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Head Teacher for Mathematics & Physics to lead the development of a new American high‑school programme in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role combines curriculum design, teacher training and direct online teaching within a hybrid learning model.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Mathematics & Physics curricula (units, lesson plans, assessments, homework) for Grades 9‑10 launching Fall 2026.
• Lead, train and support other Mathematics & Physics teachers delivering the hybrid programme.
• Teach one online Mathematics section aligned to the curriculum and learning outcomes.
• Continuously adapt and improve lessons and materials using EdTech and digital tools.
• Collaborate with the wider team to refine curriculum, delivery methods and learning journeys.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing International American high‑school Mathematics & Physics curricula aligned to CCSS and NGSS.
• Experience delivering Mathematics & Physics instruction to students for whom English is a second language.
• Recognized teaching qualification (BA/MA in subject area, TESOL, CELTA, etc.).
• 5+ years of relevant teaching experience.
• Native English speaker from an English‑speaking country.
• Reliable internet connection and professional video setup.
• Availability to work full‑time Sunday‑to‑Thursday (GMT +3), with possible half‑day flexibility.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EdTech and digital learning tools.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven educational technologies (advantageous).
• Ability to use online teaching platforms for small group instruction.
